Candidates should use the latest UPSSSC vacancy-increase notice for the final department-wise and category-wise vacancy position because the number of posts changed during the application process.

• Assistant Manager (Non-Technical) vacancies were increased by additional posts.
• Tax Officer posts under the Panchayati Raj-related recruitment structure were also included.
• The final revised recruitment total became 2,587 vacancies.

Because the recruitment went through multiple vacancy revisions, candidates should use the latest UPSSSC corrigendum when checking exact post preference and final category distribution.

• Candidates must have participated in UPSSSC PET-2025 and possess a valid PET-2025 Score Card according to the recruitment conditions.
• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree / Graduation from a recognised university or institution for the applicable graduate-level post.
• Some posts may prescribe additional subject-specific, typing, computer, experience or departmental qualifications.
• Candidates must satisfy the exact qualification for every post preference selected in the application form.
• Final eligibility will be verified by UPSSSC during the prescribed scrutiny / Document Verification process.

The PET-2025 score was used for shortlisting candidates to the Main Examination. Candidates should not automatically treat the PET shortlisting cut off as the final Lower PCS selection cut off.

The Main Examination marking scheme can be used for an approximate score:

• Correct Answer: +1 Mark
• Incorrect Answer: -0.25 Mark
• Unattempted Question: 0 Mark

Tentative Score Formula:

Estimated Marks = Correct Answers – (Wrong Answers × 0.25)

The calculated score is only an estimate. The final evaluation will be based on the answer key finalised by UPSSSC after completing the prescribed answer-key process.

3. Find the notice related to Combined Lower Subordinate Services Main Examination 2026.
4. Check Advertisement No. 07-Exam/2026.
5. Open the provisional answer-key notice.
6. Open the official answer key / question paper facility provided by the Commission.
7. Select the applicable question-paper set, where required.
8. Compare your responses with the provisional correct answers.
9. Download / save the answer key.
10. Calculate your tentative score using the official marking scheme.
11. Keep checking UPSSSC for objection / representation instructions.

• Provisional Answer Key: Released after the Main Examination for candidate review.
• Objection / Representation: Opportunity to challenge disputed answers if UPSSSC provides the facility.
• Expert Review: Valid objections are reviewed by the Commission / subject experts.
• Revised / Final Answer Key: Prepared after resolving valid objections.
• Result: Main Examination result is prepared using the final evaluation rules.

• Candidate objections / representations are considered where invited.
• The Commission finalises the answer key.
