• FRTA means First Round of Tentative Allocation.
• It provisionally allocates a post and department to qualified candidates.
• Allocation is based on normalized CBT marks, category, vacancies and submitted preferences.
• Candidates must have qualified in the Stenography Skill Test.
• Only candidates who submitted Option-cum-Preference were considered.
• The allocation is tentative and may be affected by the sliding process.

• The sliding mechanism is intended to fill vacancies that may remain vacant because of non-joining or withdrawal.
• Eligible candidates must select a venue, date and slot through the SSC login module.
• The selection facility will remain available from 04 August to 05 August 2026.
• The physical sliding process will be conducted from 11 August to 12 August 2026.
• The venue address will be displayed while selecting the date and slot.
• A candidate who fails to attend physically will be treated as absent.
• Absent candidates will not be considered for the final result through the sliding process.

2. Open the Results section.
3. Select the Stenographer Grade C and D examination category.
4. Find the Revised First Round of Tentative Allocation notice dated 31 July 2026.
5. Click on the revised result-list link.
6. The roll-number-wise result PDF will open.
7. Download the PDF to your mobile phone or computer.
8. Press Ctrl + F on a computer or use the Find option on a mobile PDF reader.
9. Enter your complete examination roll number.
10. Check your name, category, selected category, post code and rank.
11. Download the revised result write-up separately.
12. Check the department-wise marks of the last shortlisted candidates.
13. Save and print both PDFs for future reference.
