RRB-wise, Railway / Production Unit-wise and post-wise vacancy distribution is provided in the official CEN 07/2025 Annexure.

• Candidates must have passed 12th / 10+2 / Intermediate or equivalent from a recognised Board.
• For the notified posts, the general educational requirement is not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
• The 50% marks condition is not insisted upon for SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and candidates possessing qualifications higher than 12th (+2 Stage), subject to the official CEN conditions.
• Typing proficiency in English / Hindi on computer is essential for Accounts Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Clerk Cum Typist.
• Candidates must satisfy the applicable medical standard for the post.

• English Typing: 30 Words Per Minute
• OR Hindi Typing: 25 Words Per Minute
• The typing test is qualifying in nature as prescribed under the CEN.

Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk and Trains Clerk do not have this typing requirement under the notified post parameters.

• Duration: 90 Minutes
• Eligible Scribe Candidates: 120 Minutes
• Each Question: 1 Mark
• Negative Marking: 1/3 Mark for every wrong answer
• CBT-I is primarily a screening stage.
• Normalized CBT-I score is used to shortlist candidates for CBT-II.

These are minimum eligibility percentages and should not be confused with RRB-wise CBT-I cut off marks for CBT-II shortlisting. Actual cut offs can be considerably higher and vary according to RRB, category and post preference.

• Shortlisting is based on normalized marks obtained in CBT-I.
• Candidates are shortlisted according to merit and applicable community-wise vacancies against the concerned RRB.
• The official CEN provides for shortlisting up to around 15 times the community-wise vacancies for CBT-II, subject to Railway requirements.
• Reservation status used during shortlisting continues to apply according to the official recruitment rules.
• CBT-I marks are primarily used for screening to the next stage.

5. The official result PDF will open.
6. Download the PDF.
7. Press Ctrl + F on a computer.
8. On mobile, use the PDF reader’s search option.
9. Enter your Roll Number.
10. If your Roll Number appears, you have been provisionally shortlisted for CBT-II.
11. Also download the RRB-wise Cut Off Marks PDF.
12. Keep checking your regional RRB website for CBT-II city details and E-Call Letter.

Railway Recruitment Boards have specifically advised candidates to ensure that their Aadhaar information and biometrics are updated and available for biometric authentication at the examination centre.

The exact Document Verification list will be issued by RRB at the appropriate stage. Candidates should generally preserve applicable originals such as:
