• OBC Non-Creamy Layer Relaxation : 3 Years

Matriculation and ITI Route:

• Class 10 or Matriculation pass from a recognized board.

• Completed Act Apprenticeship in an eligible trade may also be accepted.

Engineering Diploma or Degree Route:

• Class 10 with a three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
• A combination of relevant engineering disciplines may be accepted according to the notification.
• A recognized engineering degree in an eligible discipline may be accepted in place of the diploma.

Important: Candidates must satisfy the exact trade or engineering discipline listed in Annexure-A of the official notification.

• A candidate failing Part-B is not considered for further shortlisting, even after obtaining good marks in Part-A.
• Final CBT-II merit for CBAT shortlisting is based on normalized Part-A marks among candidates who qualify Part-B.

4. Choose the type or reason for the objection.
5. Enter a clear explanation supporting the challenge.
6. Upload or provide an authoritative supporting reference if the portal permits it.
7. Review the selected question and objection carefully.
8. Pay the prescribed objection fee online.
9. Submit the objection before the closing date and time.
10. Download or save the payment and objection acknowledgement.

• An objection must be submitted through the official online tracker.
• An objection sent through email, post or an unofficial website may not be accepted.
• The question identification number should be checked carefully.
• A clear and reliable supporting reference should be provided.
• The prescribed fee must be paid separately for every challenged question.
• The objection should be submitted before the official deadline.
• The decision of RRB after examination of objections will be final.
• No further representation may be entertained after preparation of the final key.

• RRBs forward valid objections for examination by subject experts.
• The provisional answer may remain unchanged or may be revised.
• A question may be treated according to the expert decision and examination rules.
• The final answer keys are used to evaluate CBT-II responses.
• Part-A marks may be normalized because the examination may involve multiple conditions or sessions.
• Candidates qualifying Part-B are considered for Part-A merit.
• RRB-wise candidates will be shortlisted for the Computer Based Aptitude Test.

• Distance vision generally requires 6/6 and 6/6 without glasses.
• Near vision generally requires Sn 0.6 and Sn 0.6 without glasses.
• Candidates must pass colour vision, binocular vision, field-of-vision and night-vision tests.
• Medical eligibility is checked by the authorized Railway Medical Board.
• Meeting written-examination cutoffs does not override medical unfitness.
