• A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• For SC / ST / PwBD candidates, pass class in the Bachelor’s Degree is sufficient subject to the notified vacancy / reservation conditions.
• Knowledge of word processing on PC.
• Proficiency in the official / local language of the State / States falling under the RBI Recruiting Office for which the candidate applied.

• There is 1/4 mark negative marking for every incorrect answer.

2. Enter your Registration Number / Roll Number.
3. Enter your Password or Date of Birth in the format requested by the portal.
4. Enter the security / Captcha code.
5. Click Login / Submit.
6. Your RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination marks will appear on the screen.
7. Check your section-wise and overall score carefully.
8. Download or print your scorecard for future reference.

• Do not call the 27 August update the Main Examination result; it is the Preliminary Marks / Cutoff update.
• Do not say the Prelims exam was held only on 11 April; RBI held it on 11 and 13 April 2026, with a special 30 April examination for designated Manipur candidates.
• Do not confuse the public Preliminary Result PDF with the private scorecard login.
• Do not compare your cutoff with another RBI office unless applicable.
• Do not treat the Preliminary score as final selection marks.
• Do not omit the mandatory Language Proficiency Test from the selection process.
• Do not share Registration Number, DOB or password with unknown websites.
• Do not rely on unofficial cutoff screenshots when the official RBI cutoff PDF is available.
