Final allocation was made according to merit-cum-preference and the FIX / FLOAT option exercised during the Sliding / Identity Verification process.

• Candidates must have passed 12th Standard / Intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University.
• Candidates must possess the prescribed Stenography Skill.
• Candidates must satisfy the age, category and other eligibility conditions prescribed in the official notice.
• Educational qualification and category claims remain subject to verification by the allocated User Department.

• Normal Exam Duration: 2 Hours
• Negative Marking: 0.25 Mark for each wrong answer
• Computer Based Examination marks were normalized because the examination was conducted in multiple shifts.

These are minimum qualifying percentages and are different from the actual category-wise cut off marks used for shortlisting candidates to the Skill Test.

Candidates were given a 10-minute dictation in English or Hindi according to the language opted in the online application.

5. The public selection list will appear.
6. Download the PDF.

9. Enter your Roll Number or Name.
10. If your details appear in the list, check your post and allocation information carefully.
11. Also download the official Final Result Write-Up.
12. Save both documents for future Document Verification.

Unfilled vacancies, if any, and vacancies arising because of non-joining of shortlisted candidates will be carried forward by the concerned Departments / Organisations according to applicable rules.

• Do not treat the examination as “SSC Stenographer 2026”; this final result relates to the 2025 Examination.
• Do not use 05 June as application start date; the Stenographer notice states 06 June 2025.
• Do not omit the CBE held on 11 August 2025.
• Do not describe the recruitment as containing a separate descriptive-paper stage.
• Do not confuse Option-cum-Preference with final appointment.
• Do not confuse FRTA with the final result.
• Fresh final ranks supersede FRTA ranks.
