Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the SSC Stenographer C, D 2025 Final Result on its official website. The result is for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2025. After Computer Based Examination, Stenography Skill Test, Option-cum-Preference, First Round of Tentative Allocation and Sliding / Identity Verification, SSC has provisionally recommended a total of 1,715 candidates.

| SSC declared the First Round of Tentative Allocation for Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2025 on 31 July 2026. Candidates were then required to participate in the Sliding / Identity Verification process on 11 and 12 August 2026 at the concerned Regional Offices. After processing FIX, FLOAT and new allocations, SSC declared the final result on 25 August 2026. |

| SSC has allotted fresh ranks to candidates included in the final result. These final ranks supersede the ranks allotted during the First Round of Tentative Allocation dated 31 July 2026. |

| Is Login Required to Check SSC Stenographer Final Result? |
| No. The Final Result list and Final Result Write-Up are public PDF documents. Candidates can download them without logging into the SSC candidate account. SSC login may separately be required for facilities such as individual marks, earlier answer keys, examination city information or other candidate-specific documents. |
| Is This Final Result Equal to Final Appointment? |
| No. Although SSC has declared the final examination result and department allocation, the recommendation is provisional. The allocated User Department will conduct Document Verification and appointment formalities. If a candidate fails to substantiate any essential qualification, caste, category or other claim with valid certificates, the candidature can be cancelled. |
| What If the Allocated Department Does Not Contact You? |
| SSC has stated that if a shortlisted candidate does not receive correspondence from the allocated User Department within six months from declaration of the final result, the candidate should communicate with the concerned User Department immediately thereafter. |

Unfilled vacancies, if any, and vacancies arising because of non-joining of shortlisted candidates will be carried forward by the concerned Departments / Organisations according to applicable rules. |
