• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
• An equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government was also accepted.
• Integrated Dual Degree holders were eligible.
• Candidates holding qualifications such as Engineering, Medical, Chartered Accountancy or Cost Accountancy were also eligible.
• The date of passing was determined from the marksheet, provisional certificate or an authorized university certificate.

• Candidates required at least two years of post-qualification experience as an officer as on 31 December 2025.
• The experience must have been obtained in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank listed in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India.
• Candidates were required to submit a job profile certified by the present or previous employer.
• The job profile had to substantially match the duties of an SBI Scale-I Generalist Officer.
• The Screening Committee was authorized to reject candidates whose experience or job profile did not satisfy SBI requirements.
• Employees working only in subsidiaries of Scheduled Commercial Banks were not eligible.

• The Objective Test carried 120 marks.
• The Descriptive Test carried 50 marks.
• The Descriptive Test was conducted immediately after the Objective Test.
• Candidates were required to type their descriptive answers on a computer.
• There was no penalty for incorrect answers in the Objective Test.
• No sectional marks were maintained for the online examination.
• Candidates had to obtain the minimum aggregate qualifying marks decided by SBI.

• Applications and uploaded documents of online-examination qualifiers were examined by a Screening Committee.
• The committee verified the required banking experience.
• The certified job profile was compared with the job profile of an SBI Scale-I Generalist Officer.
• Applications could be rejected if the job profile did not substantially match SBI requirements.
• A circle-wise and category-wise merit list was prepared from online-examination marks.
• Approximately three times the number of vacancies could be called for interview, subject to the availability of qualified candidates.
• The interview carried 50 marks.
• Merely qualifying the examination did not guarantee an interview or final selection.

5. The official candidate-marks portal will open.
6. Enter your roll number or registration number.
7. Enter your date of birth in DD-MM-YYYY format.
8. Enter the captcha code displayed on the screen.
9. Click on the Submit button.
10. Your written-examination and interview marks will appear.
11. Check all score details carefully.
12. Save or print the marks page for future reference.

3. Click on the Final Result link.
4. The official two-page result PDF will open.
5. Download the complete PDF to your device.
6. Open the file using a PDF reader.

8. Enter your complete examination roll number.
9. Check whether your roll number appears in the selection list.
10. Save and print the result PDF for the joining process.

• Candidates had to apply for one SBI Circle only.
• They were required to be proficient in reading, writing and understanding one specified local language of that Circle.
• The language test is conducted for provisionally selected candidates before joining.
• A candidate failing the prescribed language test will not be offered appointment.
• Candidates who studied the selected local language as a subject in Class 10 or Class 12 may be exempted.
• The marksheet or certificate must clearly show the relevant language subject.

• The final result is provisional.
• Selected candidates must fulfil all conditions of Advertisement No. CRPD/CBO/2025-26/18.
• Local-language proficiency must be proved or qualified, where applicable.
• Educational qualification and banking experience remain subject to verification.
• The certified job profile may be checked again before appointment.
• Category, PwBD and age-relaxation certificates must be valid.
• Selected candidates must be declared medically fit according to SBI requirements.
• Adverse credit history, character or antecedent issues may affect appointment.
• Provisional selection does not create an unconditional right to appointment.

• A candidate was permitted to apply for only one Circle.
• Selection was considered only against vacancies of the chosen Circle.
