Shiksha Shastri Candidates should have at least 50% marks in a Bachelor’s degree with Sanskrit as the main subject and a Master’s degree in Sanskrit or Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra. Candidates who passed Shastri or B.A. including Sanskrit with 50% marks and completed a two-year Acharya or M.A. Sanskrit course may also be required to complete a Bridge Course according to the applicable rules. Marks from the first year of Acharya or M.A. may not be included in the final percentage calculation where specified.
