Head Constable Steward:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 Intermediate from a recognized board.
• Candidates must possess a minimum two-year Diploma in Catering or Kitchen Management from a recognized institute.
• Applicants should have at least one year of experience as a Steward in a recognized hospital or institution.

Head Constable Communication:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; or
• Candidates must possess a three-year Diploma in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology or another prescribed related discipline.
• The accepted Diploma branches should be confirmed from the official notification.

Head Constable Electrician:

• Candidates must have passed the Matriculation or Class 10 examination from a recognized board.
• Candidates must possess the prescribed work experience, ITI certificate or Diploma in the Electrician trade.
• Candidates must qualify the applicable trade or skill test.
• The exact trade qualification and experience requirements should be checked in the official notification.

Head Constable Veterinary:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 Intermediate with Science and Biology from a recognized board.
• Candidates must possess a two-year Diploma in Veterinary, Livestock Development or Animal Husbandry from a recognized institute.
• Candidates should satisfy all professional and recognition conditions mentioned by SSB.

• The Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test are scheduled for the third week of August 2026.
• The exact test date, reporting time and centre will be printed on the PET / PST admit card.
• The PET may include running and other physical-efficiency requirements prescribed by SSB.
• The PST may include height, chest and weight measurements according to official standards.
• Physical standards may differ according to gender, category, post and region.
